At So Wood, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Please read our returns and refunds policy carefully before making a purchase.

How to Start a Return

To begin a return request, please contact us at hello@sowood.com with your order number and reason for return. Our team will review your request and provide further instructions if applicable.


Personalised Items

Due to the custom nature of our products:

  • Personalised or engraved items are final sale

  • We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds on personalised items unless the item is faulty or incorrect due to our error

Please ensure all personalisation details are correct before placing your order.


Change of Mind (Non-Personalised Items Only)

If you change your mind on a non-personalised item:

  • The item must be unused, in original condition, and in original packaging

  • You must contact us within 30 days of receiving your order

  • Return postage is the customer’s responsibility

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable

Once the return is received and inspected, we will process a refund for the product value only.


Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect:

  • Please contact us at hello@sowood.com within 30 days of delivery

  • Include your order number and clear photos of the issue

If the issue is confirmed to be our fault, we will arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.


Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect

  • We are not liable for lost or damaged return parcels—please use a tracked shipping method


Refund Processing

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • Processing time is typically 5–10 business days after the return is received and approved
